TAR UMT Merit Scholarship

1. Open for Malaysian Student 2. Merit scholarship is for full-time programmes only 3. Tuition Fee Waiver depends on examination achievement - SPM 8As (A and A+ only) and above receive 100% tuition waiver and need to maintain CGPA 3.5 and above - SPM 8As (A-, A, A+ ) receive 50% tuition waiver and need to maintain CGPA 3.25 and above - SPM 7As (A-, A, A+ ) receive 25% tuition waiver - SPM 6As (A-, A, A+ ) receive 20% tuition waiver (for Foundation programme only) - SPM 5As (A-, A, A+ ) receive 15% tuition waiver (for Foundation programme only) 4. To retain scholarship, scholar need to obtain straight passes in all courses (including co-curriculum for Diploma) and CGPA at least above 3.0. CGPA below set criteria will lead to tuition fee waiver adjusted down or scholarship withdrawn. 5. There shall be NO upward adjustment even if scholars obtained a higher CGPA threshold thereafter.

Candidates who meet the scholarship criteria will be automatically offered the Merit Scholarship (Terms & Conditions Apply) upon admission.
