Sunway University Young Chef Scholarship

1. Applicants must be between 17 to 25 years old 2. Open to Malaysians and international students 3. Applicants with formal culinary education are encouraged to apply 4. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of the Diploma in Culinary Arts programme

1. Complete the Online Scholarship Application Form, with the required supporting documents: https://sunway.edu.my/scholarship-app/ 2. The shortlisting for the Sunway University Young Chef Cook-Off shall be based on the submission of essay below titled: “Why should I be selected as a Sunway University Young Chef-” (200 words or less). The essay must be submitted together with the Scholarship Application Form 3. All shortlisted applicants must attend the Young Chef Cook-Off session assessed by a Panel of Judges from Sunway University consisting of Winning Chefs from Team Malaysia’s Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie 2019 and Sunway Scholarship Committee. Scholarship Cook-Off session will take place in early-April & early-September. 4. Only shortlisted applicants will be informed via a phone call followed by an e-mail by end-March & end-August. 5. Applicants that are not shortlisted will receive an e-mail communication.
