Award recipient must achieve and maintain the following academic requirement to continue enjoying the award:- - Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/required average below: - GPA of 2.00 or average of 50% 4. The parent must submit a certified true copy of secondary school teacher / staff identification document and birth certification of student as proof. 5. Not applicable for learning simplified, flexible learning, postgraduate and evening programmes.
UTS Bursary Scheme for Foundation Studies

Requirements
1. Recipient is a Malaysian and registered as full time Foundation Student of UTS. 2. The Bursary Scheme for Foundation students has 2 tiers system as following: - Tier 1 (T1): Minimum 6As and better achievement in SPM and GPA 3.30 and above for the subsequent semester. RM10,000 for full fees of 1 year Foundation programme with voucher amounting RM 500 for long semester & RM200 for short semester. - Tier 2 (T2): any 5C credits of SPM and GPA 2.0 and above for the subsequent semester. RM10,000 for full fees of 1 year Foundation programmed 3. Not receive any other full scholarship, sponsorship, fellowship or bursary during the duration of the foundation course unless with the prior written approval of UTS. 4. Sponsored students must maintain minimum Grade Average Point (GPA) 2.00 every semester, failing which they have to pay tuition fees for the subsequent. If they fail to do so, they will have to pay tuition fees for the subsequent semester. 5. Foundation studies consist of 3 semesters and the Bursary Scheme eligible as below: - Semester 1 : The student must meet the minimum entry requirement to join Foundation In Science or Foundation In Art to obtain the bursary scheme for Semester 1 tuition fee. The student must obtain at least 6As to be eligible to get the voucher amounting RM 500. - Semester 2 & 3 The student must obtain GPA 2.00 and above to retain the bursary scheme for Semester 2 & 3 tuition fee. The student must obtain GPA 3.30 and above to be eligible to get voucher amounting RM 500 for semester 2 and RM 200 for semester 3. 6. Upon successfully completing their Foundation Programme, sponsored students must continue their study into a degree program in UTS and graduated with a UTS Bachelor degree. If they fail to graduate with a UTS Bachelor's degree with UTS, they must repay the full bursary scheme amount to UTS. 7. If student fail to enroll in any degree program at UTS during the next undergraduate intake after completing foundation studies, they are required to repay the full amount of the bursary scheme to UTS. 8. Official transcript, Official result slip and relevant certificates will only be issued upon full payment of the tuition fees for the Foundation Programme if student fail to continue degree program in UTS.
TAR UMT JINBODHI Bursary

Requirements
1. Must be a Malaysian citizen. 2. Students who obtained admission to TAR UMT for full time diploma or degree programmes with at least one more year of studies before completing the current programme of studies. 3. Be from a household who earns a combined income of not more than RM5,000 per month. 4. The bursary application opening in November 2026 is not open to students enrolled in the January 2027 intake 5. The recipient shall be required to attain a minimum GPA of 2.75 for each semester, in addition to maintaining a CGPA of 2.75 or above throughout the course of study.
Chan Kok Veng & Goh Joo Yi Scholarship

1. Citizen of Malaysia 2. Obtained minimum 5As and C in all other subjects in SPM or equivalent 3. Financially needy with total monthly income of parents / guardian of RM5000 and below 4. During the programme of study, the scholarship recipient is not allowed to hold concurrently any other forms of financial assistance without prior written consent of the Scholarship Administrators. 5. The scholarship is renewable every semester at the absolute discretion of the Scholarship Administrators and subject to satisfactory academic performance and conduct. 6. The scholarship recipient is required to maintain a CGPA of 2.7500 every semester.
Lee Ah Kwee Memorial Scholarship

The Scholarship recipient shall not be simultaneously receiving scholarship/grant from other organizations. 5. The scholarship is renewable every semester at the absolute discretion of the Sponsor and subject to satisfactory academic performance and conduct. 6. The scholarship recipient is required to maintain a CGPA of 2.7500 every semester. 7. The award will be disbursed through the Bursary of TAR UMT.
MIVA SIYUAN Scholarship

Requirements
1. Malaysians citizens, aged 25 or below 2. Officially accepted into a local college or university 3. Academic performance: minimum CGPA 2.75/SPM min. 3A 4. Good character, responsible, caring, and empathetic 5. From an economically disadvantaged family 6. Preference given to those with volunteer experience or a strong interest in community service 7. Applicants may apply for other scholarships or financial aid at the time of application. However, if awarded the MIVA SiYuan Scholarship, they must not concurrently receive any other tuition-related financial assistance, as the MIVA SiYuan Scholarship provides 100% tuition coverage. 8. Applicants must disclose all other aid they are applying for or receiving 9. All recipients must register as MIVA volunteers to ensure proper tracking of service hours and activities 10. Failure to fulfill the required service hours, submit a valid report on time, and maintain the minimum CGPA 2.75 will result in the cancellation of the scholarship and full repayment of the funds received for that semester
Help University Distinction Award

Requirements
1. For new and progressing students, where applicable. Any student is eligible to apply for the study awards. 2. The waiver is only applicable to the first year of study 3. The Distinction Awards will be disbursed in two stages - the first 75% during the Foundation programme and the remaining 25% upon progression to an undergraduate programme. Students will be entitled to only one of the study awards or fee waiver (whichever is higher) . 4. For SPM / O-Level entry, applicant may receive up to RM12000 waiver for SPM result 9As (A, A+) and above or RM6000 waiver for SPM result 7As (A, A+) and above 5. International students are also eligible to apply for the Distinction Awards based on the equivalent qualification outlined by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). However, the final decision is still at the discretion of the committee to approve. 6. Final decision is to be decided by the committee.

Trailblazer Award is only given for one specific programme, either a Pre-U programme or an undergraduate programme. For Trailblazer Award students who progress to Bachelors from Foundation or Diploma, they will follow the progression fee promotion of that intake year (if available). 4. UoC Foundation Scholarship

Requirements
1. Applicable to Malaysian citizens only. 2. Minimum SPM results of 4As (A+/ A/ A-) for 100% waiver. Students meeting only the minimum entry requirements may still qualify for a 50% waiver. 3. This scholarship covers up to 100% of your tuition fees for the foundation programme, as long as the student registers for their undergraduate programme at UoC.
